Getting excited:

9/12/2014

Things are moving along nicely, and yes book 1 is just about done, back from the editor, all updated. Now all I need to do is sort the new title and series name, should I stick with the Dream World series, or Stargazing saga as I thought that would work. Maybe my lovely readers will help me out.

So my question is to keep the first book as.....

Dream World, and use a series name, such as Stargazing saga.

or

Dream World series, and give book one a title of say daydreamer....

Please leave comments guys, help me out ready for its release and so I can get the new cover created with the new wording.

Thank you.

Sarah.

Good morning, so little time left. I am back to work soon, the kids back to school. I still need to get the school uniform and everything my four children need.

But today, it's bank holiday Monday, and what am I doing today, well I am going to edit another chapter of my second novel, and then complete a craft challenge or two, before doing anything else.

What are you guys up to?

So little time left before its school time again. I am exhausted, having the four kids home, it did not take long before the boys bickered. My eldest son turns 14 this Friday, and well you can tell he is turning into a moody teen. Everything is argument, with everyone...hormones I think....I am not looking forward to doing this two more times.

This morning I did a little housework, as my back is hurting and my sciatica  is playing up. Luckily only on one hip. Today also I plan to share some cards I have made. I may do this on my author website, if anyone is interested of course, they are all handmade.

Making cards gives me a break from writing and editing, and the children. We all need that, a little escape. Before I return to work and the madness continues of, school runs, homework, planning, and writing up observations, and the rest, like housework, I think I have heard of that.

On a good note, I found that I have had a few sales, recently. Made my day, and if a few reviews appear, fantastic.

The craft fair is done, sadly only about ten customers came the whole day, so few of us actually sold anything, some nothing. I sold two items, but I did have a fantastic day and met some new ladies who I will be keeping in contact with.

On the plus side, I did take my book, and some free samples and my business card, which a few people took and a few of the store holders. So that was good. Glad I took them with me.

Now I can get back to editing as the edits come in, and back to book 2, YAY. Exciting time ahead.

I literally have three days left before the children break up. One of my boys will be going away all week, as the Year 6 group do. He is very excited about going and need to get everything packed today. Well what hasn't already been done. I will be checking my list, twice, and making sure everything he takes he needs, fun.....

After spending the day crafting all day Sunday and feeling like I did not get as much done as I hoped. Today I have my pc to myself, the kids are at school and its my day off.

So updating my blog and website, I have space for anyone who wants to be a featured author, so let me know and I will add you to my list.

I will happily share a few of my craft makes, but today I plan to get on with adding my edits from my lovely mother in law.

Had planned a day of editing:

I had planned as the title says a day of editing dream world, but it looks like my daughter may have taken my memory stick instead of mine.

So I could iron, clean or have a bath. Or instead edit one of my other novels. That would be just as good, really.

I could craft, but I like to do that once the kids are home and tea is cooked.

What are your plans today, leave a comment..would love to hear from you guys.

I cannot believe that half term is over and I don't think I managed to get much done at all.

Of course unless you count the pile of ironing I did, the housework, taking care of the kids.

And of course a few hours here and there making craft items.

Nope not much done.

I did manage three chapters edited though. I also sold a few books this week, how cool is that. One of the ladies messaged me to say she cannot wait for book 2, that is the best thing ever an author to hear.

Apologies

I have just to start by apologising to those who read my blog. With one thing and another I have not been able to use my pc as I intended, and then I had an issue with my mouse.

We all know we need that to control a pc, yes mine has touchscreen but to be honest as it a large screen it is really had to use. So until I recieved my new mouse I was stuck.

Once it arrived it was a case of popping the wireless bit in and turning it on. I am back in business. Yay....

I can now work on my edits and updating my sites.

I really wish I had more time to edit than I do. It seems Mondays just pass in a blur. I did manage three chapters in their first round of edits today, will go over them with Natural Reader and Pro-Writer, and move on to the next chapters afterwards.

It always seems to look like rain when I have to head to get the boys from school. Why is that.

Oh and did I say my daughter turned 15. I bet I did...lol...And with my 37th birthday fast approaching, wow, time is flying past. I recall when  I was her age, it may be why I love teen books so much.

Right now, I am reading two books, one called Finding the Light, and the other Jet Lag diaries.  One is out now as an ebook, the other is a ARC book, I think that's what one calls it.

I may just soak in the tub tonight and read more of Finding the Light. I will be posting a review up as soon as I am done, on my review blog. But now the time has come, already for the school run, horay.
