I really wish I had more time to edit than I do. It seems Mondays just pass in a blur. I did manage three chapters in their first round of edits today, will go over them with Natural Reader and Pro-Writer, and move on to the next chapters afterwards.

It always seems to look like rain when I have to head to get the boys from school. Why is that.

Oh and did I say my daughter turned 15. I bet I did...lol...And with my 37th birthday fast approaching, wow, time is flying past. I recall when  I was her age, it may be why I love teen books so much.

Right now, I am reading two books, one called Finding the Light, and the other Jet Lag diaries.  One is out now as an ebook, the other is a ARC book, I think that's what one calls it.

I may just soak in the tub tonight and read more of Finding the Light. I will be posting a review up as soon as I am done, on my review blog. But now the time has come, already for the school run, horay.

Busy day:

Another Monday and I don't feel like I got much done at all. Yes, I washed and hung out four loads of washing, cleared up a bit, fed the chickens, updated my new page for featured authors, edited the rest of chapter two.

What else, oh yes, sorted some laundry into baskets for the kids to put away. Cooked the kids tea, washed up and even read a little. So did I do a lot today, reading that lot, I guess I did.

Did I edit as much or write as much as I would like. No. I wish I had more time, oh and I made playdough for work tomorrow. YAY, yellow with almond flavouring. The kids and adults alike are going to love it.

Right now the kids are quiet, and soon they will be going to bed, and I will be able to sit in peace and quiet, at least until their dad gets in....

Well what a week, my partner turned 40, my son is in the process of choosing his options for GCSE's next year, and I have work to do for my children at school. As well as trying to edit and make some kind of plan for my daughters 15th birthday next week. Wow 15, I cannot believe how time has flown. It does not seem possible, and feels like I only held in my arms as a tiny bundle of just under 6lb when she was born. Now she almost taller than me and growing up fast, and her brothers of course are catching her up.

On the up side, I have no gained any weight with eating cake and treats, this week, but then again I am not losing either. And had to miss my zumba class. I guess I need to try harder with my diet and not be on a seefood diet.  Yes, I spelt that correctly, meaning and many of you may know this one, see food and eat it. I do have a balanced diet, but need to really kick it into gear.  I will keep you guys updated on that.

As for editing, well one of my lovely beta readers has the opening chapters and I am waiting to hear back from her. Fingers crossed Michelle likes it in present tense, biting my nails while I wait.

Today I had plans to do more editing than I actually managed, but then again I did pop over to see a friend I had not seen in a long time. It was nice to sit and chat and check out her new pad.

I love her new place, its fantastic, in a quiet spot with loads of space, and well I had a lovely chat with her and a cup of coffee, or two. Once I found it. Missed my turning, or took the first one, but got there in the end.

Once home, I let my three dogs out, and made myself lunch before sitting down at the computer and began to edit chapter 2. I am currently working my way through it for the fourth time. I have the computer read the chapter to me, and then I use a programme to help me edit, as best I can.

I love using the reading programme as it make me listen to how it reads, and catches misspelled words. Like image and imagine. It really helps me, I think it may help others to, download the free version and try it out for yourself.

With half-term over and already a week of back to school and work, is it really Monday already?

I have plans today to update my blogs, and my website, and today I will be adding a new author to my website. She will feature the whole week, and well she is a very talented writer, and she blows my mind, because she is only twelve years old. Pop over to my website and check her books out, yes books, she has two.

Here is a link to check her out, and while you are there, why not check out the past authors too.

That is it, half-term is over. And what did I get done, not much, but on the up side today is my day off. So I have a whole, well a few hours left now, to myself, no kids, partner, the telly is off, I have a hot cup of tea and silence. Heaven.

What to do with the few hours I have left before they return, well I plans to update my blogs (hello blog) and my review page, my website and then I will edit, either book 2, or Push. Maybe if time allows a chapter of each, or more...thanks for reading my ramblings, feel free to let me know what your plans are today, and feel free to comment on any of my posts.

Thanks, Sarah.

A little magic in my life:

With the decision to edit Push after book 2 has been finished editing. I have also decided that when I am not on my computer to handwrite book 3 of the Dream World series. With the children at home for a week, I doubt I will get much time on the computer. So handwriting it is a great option. I will then use my Dragon program to type it up.

I also have a few days to try and come up with a plot for a story of up to 10,000 words for another charity book, due out Mother's day.  I will be writing the outline this week. Hoping that I can take part in this book. As all proceeds will go to Guthy-Jackson Foundation- a charity established for research and awareness of autoimmune diseases. NMO is the focus of that foundation, as a mother started it for her daughter who has that disease, but their work has benefited all AI causes. (taken from the email that the lady sent me who is organising this.)

I really hope to take part, and I may have to pop a few ideas down and share them with you, unless one just jumps out at me.

I will leave you now, as I have plans today to tackle a large pile of ironing that if I don't do it soon, will be as tall as me. Or more likely grow legs and walk away. Then again, if it does that, no more ironing....or maybe magic fairies will visit and it will magically get done.
