Getting excited:

Things are moving along nicely, and yes book 1 is just about done, back from the editor, all updated. Now all I need to do is sort the new title and series name, should I stick with the Dream World series, or Stargazing saga as I thought that would work. Maybe my lovely readers will help me out.

So my question is to keep the first book as.....

Dream World, and use a series name, such as Stargazing saga.

or

Dream World series, and give book one a title of say daydreamer....

Please leave comments guys, help me out ready for its release and so I can get the new cover created with the new wording.

Thank you.

Sarah.

Three days that is all I have left before I am back to work and the children are back to school. My third child's first day of high school and my youngest starts his new school. He will be there for two years before he joins the others at high school. Of course, by then my eldest two will be in college, or sixth form. That is truly a scary thought.

But best news, I am done with my round of edits, now all I can do is sit back and wait. I am sending book 2 out to my beta readers, lets hope they like it.

Good morning, so little time left. I am back to work soon, the kids back to school. I still need to get the school uniform and everything my four children need.

But today, it's bank holiday Monday, and what am I doing today, well I am going to edit another chapter of my second novel, and then complete a craft challenge or two, before doing anything else.

What are you guys up to?

Almost over:

So little time left before its school time again. I am exhausted, having the four kids home, it did not take long before the boys bickered. My eldest son turns 14 this Friday, and well you can tell he is turning into a moody teen. Everything is argument, with everyone...hormones I think....I am not looking forward to doing this two more times.

This morning I did a little housework, as my back is hurting and my sciatica  is playing up. Luckily only on one hip. Today also I plan to share some cards I have made. I may do this on my author website, if anyone is interested of course, they are all handmade.

Making cards gives me a break from writing and editing, and the children. We all need that, a little escape. Before I return to work and the madness continues of, school runs, homework, planning, and writing up observations, and the rest, like housework, I think I have heard of that.

On a good note, I found that I have had a few sales, recently. Made my day, and if a few reviews appear, fantastic.

After spending the day crafting all day Sunday and feeling like I did not get as much done as I hoped. Today I have my pc to myself, the kids are at school and its my day off.

So updating my blog and website, I have space for anyone who wants to be a featured author, so let me know and I will add you to my list.

I will happily share a few of my craft makes, but today I plan to get on with adding my edits from my lovely mother in law.

Had planned a day of editing:

I had planned as the title says a day of editing dream world, but it looks like my daughter may have taken my memory stick instead of mine.

So I could iron, clean or have a bath. Or instead edit one of my other novels. That would be just as good, really.

I could craft, but I like to do that once the kids are home and tea is cooked.

What are your plans today, leave a comment..would love to hear from you guys.

Half term nearly over already:

Can you believe that the half term is almost over. That means I have eight weeks left at work before the six week holidays. That cannot come quick enough for me.

There does not seem to be enough hours in the day to everything I need to do.  Editing is slow, but I am getting there. With the help of a few friends and my mother in law we will get there. I was hoping book 2 would have been out by now, but in my opinion, all good things comes to those who wait, at least I hope so.

Many of you know I am crafting when I am not writing/editing. Talking to a lovely lady one day I mentioned I was an author, not that is unknown as my username has it in the title. We got talking and she asked for a link to my book saying she would buy it.

Like many authors, we know people say they will, but don't always. So when I noticed the next day I had had a sale. I knew she had. What I did not expect was the day after a message to say she had read it already and when was book 2 coming out.  I think my jaw hit the floor. I was gobsmacked she had read it that quickly and enjoyed it.

That made my day, so today back to the edits ready for me to get my book uploaded and go solo.

Apologies

I have just to start by apologising to those who read my blog. With one thing and another I have not been able to use my pc as I intended, and then I had an issue with my mouse.

We all know we need that to control a pc, yes mine has touchscreen but to be honest as it a large screen it is really had to use. So until I recieved my new mouse I was stuck.

Once it arrived it was a case of popping the wireless bit in and turning it on. I am back in business. Yay....

I can now work on my edits and updating my sites.

Street team:

As many of you are now aware, my publisher is closing, but my plans to self publish remain. As soon as I know more on when she will take them down and return the rights to me, i will let you know.

Recently I read that many authors are either part of or have a street team. I don't know much about them, do I start one, do others start it, do I even need one?

If I am self publishing, maybe I should. I would really love to hear your thoughts, or ideas about this, thank you in advance.

Oh can I just say,  I am not worried about losing my publisher, yes I am saddened by it, but really I need to think positively.

If I can just reach one reader who enjoys my book, I will be happy, if I find two, three, or more, I will be thrilled. After all my goal is to be read.

I could stand here and gabble on about all my book ideas that I have planned. And trust me if I start I may not be able to stop, seriously. All I ever wanted from writing is to find those readers who love my books that they have to share them, and maybe have a fanbase like so many other talented authors out there. Tracie Puckett has been one of my biggest inspiration to do it. I have seen her soar so high with her fantastic books, that I feel that now the time is right for me, this is the path I was meant to take.

So from here on, I  have my head held high and will keep you guys all updated, those that do stop by and read. I really right now need to hear from you, I am not begging, but leave a comment...it may just make my day.....(it really will....<3)
