Dream World Series: Book 3: Fractured Dreams coming soon:

Finally I can say book 3 is coming soon, with a change of title, no longer Mean Girls, the title is now Fractured Dreams.

The story continues, but this book follows Karen's story after high school. Still dating Craig, until he tells her news she did not want to hear, that he was leaving. His mother is getting married and they are moving away. Of course she is devastated and the only thing she can do, is like Debbie, go where he is, but would her family agree.

Here is the snippet of after she asked her parents just that. Her relationship with her mother had not changed much:

“Calm down, Karen,” my father began. “I am not saying you can go. If I had time to come and check the places out I would, but I don’t. I can cover your mother at work. Since she is happy with all this, she can take you.”
“I can?”
“Yes, since you trust her to study so far away. You can check out the colleges and any accommodation. I assume you want to live there too. Unless you want to travel back and forth? It’s a long drive and would take most of the day, even by train.”
“No, travelling wouldn’t be ideal. I think moving there is the best option,” I said. It was after all the only option I had thought of. It had not occurred to me to travel back and forth.
I knew Craig would be there, besides I was home alone most of the time anyway. What would the difference be?
My parents had tried to spend more time with me. To connect with me, but with the business expanding again, they had so much on, that it ended as quickly as it started.
Moving away would suit them as much as it was the right choice for me.
A year or more ago, the outcome would have been different; they would have happily shipped me off without a second thought.
